Miki Marcato is one of the pioneers of denim culture in Italy.
In recent years founded Rust Mood, an exotic and timeless workshop where the processing of leather seems only a pretext to connote the environment of strong references to the imagination of the American West; the air weighed down by the stoner rock pumped by some vintage amplifiers, pre-Columbian symbols, guns and blood, hallucinogenic fumes from the hippie and biker’s culture.
Here the leather becomes a living and symbolic material on which to project all the references of cultural appropriation according to a typically Italian spirit.
